After studying at Aberdeen University and training in Edinburgh, I qualified as a solicitor in 2011 and began my career specialising in employment law.

I returned to my home town of Elgin in 2013 and have enjoyed working here whilst raising my two young daughters who like to keep me on my toes!

I really enjoy building relationships with my clients so that I can truly understand what they are going through and what their needs are. I believe this is an important part of my job.

Away from the office I love spending time with my family, catching up with friends and going to gigs when I can – the louder the better!

After studying at the University of Strathclyde, I trained and worked at a large firm in Glasgow, before moving to a small niche firm in Glasgow city centre, which specialised exclusively in employment law, where I worked for 11 years.

I now work remotely from the Central/West of Scotland, with the odd trip to enjoy the lovely scenery and hospitality of Elgin.

I have extensive experience advising both employees and employers on all contentious and non contentious employment issues. I am passionate about finding the best resolution for clients by getting to the heart of the issue at an early stage.

Outside of work, most of my time is spent with my young son and husband, but I love travelling, listening to live music and spending time with extended family and friends when I can.

I am from the local area, and I have several years’ experience in customer service and administration roles.

Over the years I have developed my people skills looking to make all clients feel welcome and heard. I always strive to make sure I see instructions from clients through to the best of my ability and try to go above and beyond what is expected of me.

Outside of work I have two young children who keep me very busy. I enjoy spending time as a family, family trips away and spending time with friends especially if we have the chance to go out for dinner.
